Bio:

Katherine McNamara is an American actress born on November 22, 1995, in Kansas City, Missouri.

She first began her acting career at the age of 13, when she was cast in Stephen Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music”, as well as in other theater roles such as “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “The Crucible” and “Annie” during her childhood years.

Her breakout role on the big screen was in the romantic comedy “New Year’s Eve”, where she plays Lily Bowman. She is currently most known for her performances in the television series “Shadowhunters” and the superhero series “Arrow”.

Aside from acting, Katherine McNamara a passionate guitar and piano player, as well as a dedicated student, completing a master’s degree literature program at Johns Hopkins University.
