Bio:
Mindy Kaling is an American actress, comedian, and screenwriter born on June 24, 1979, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She attended Dartmouth College, where she participated in the college’s comedy troupe “The Dog Day Players” and wrote for the campus’ daily newspaper and humor magazine.
She graduated college in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in playwriting. She is widely known for her performance in the sitcom “The Office”, “Ocean’s 8”, “Never Have I Ever” and “the Mindy Project”, which she created, produced, and starred in.
She has also published several books, such as “Unbelievable Holiday Tales: Scripting a Fantasy of a Family”, “Questions I Ask When I Want to Talk About Myself” and “Why Not Me?”.
