Dakota Fanning is an American actress born on February 23, 1994, in Conyers, Georgia.

She displayed an interest in acting at a young age, performing at a local playhouse alongside other children and putting on a play every week to show to parents.

Noticing her exceptional acting talent, her family moved to Los Angeles, where she was signed with a professional acting agency and got cast in the movies “Tomcats” and “Father Xmas”.

Her breakthrough role was in the 2001 movie “I am Sam”, after which she was cast in the movies “Trapped”, “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Hansel & Gretel”. Other popular movies in which the actress has starred include “Coraline”, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” and “The Cat in the Hat”.
