A month ago I watched From Up On Poppy Hill, which was set in Yokohama in the 60s. All Studio Ghibli movies are so stunning, so the day after I watched the movie, I wanted to look up images of that time, and came across an old photo that inspired me to redraw it and add lots of colourful elements to it. I started off with the lines and then realised how dreamy the illustration looked with just colour. This type of illustration is not something I often do, but I found myself drawing for hours and I really love how it turned out! You can find this print now @familystoreuk – they riso printed it and we have 100 copies available, signed. I hope you like it! 🌸 EDIT: thank you SO much for all the interest on this print.
